Make A Donation

Congregation Dorshei Tzedek is an energetic community that offers a wide range of programs to our members as well as people from outside the congregation. These programs include weekly Shabbat services, family services and family education, adult education, social action events and our religious school. While we support a significant amount of our programming through membership dues, we also rely on contributions—both from members and non-members—to sustain us.

We want to encourage our members, and their friends and family, to consider supporting our community's activities as a way of acknowledging important lifecycle events and milestones, in memory or in honor of loved ones, or simply as a yearly tzedakah contribution. The following are special funds to which contributions can be directed:

General Fund: supports basic operations & expenses;

Religious School Fund: supports children’s education scholarships and general expenses;

Holy Books Fund: to purchase siddurim, mahzorim, and related materials;

Torah Fund: for repair and upkeep of the Torah; to purchase other ritual objects as needed;

Rabbi's Discretionary Fund: to be spent at Rabbi’s personal discretion, for tzedakah, scholarships, emergencies, books, etc.

All contributions to Dorshei Tzedek are valued, no matter the size of the gift. Any contribution that is not specifically marked for a particular fund will be allocated to the General Fund. If a gift is made in honor of a person or an occasion, an appropriate acknowledgement will be sent (if requested). It is our policy to acknowledge all contributions (but not amounts) in our newsletter, unless they are made anonymously.

Your support enables us to maintain our high quality programs, and allows us to expand in response to members’ interests and needs.
