2012 CDT Softball Team

The CDT Men’s Softball Team was formed in 2007 and competes in the Men’s Synagogue Softball League. There are over 40 teams entered in MSSL in the Greater Boston area. All active male members of the congregation, 25 years or older, are welcome to play. We also encourage non-playing congregants to attend the games and cheer on the team. The team finished 7-1 last season, and made the playoffs for the first time.

Games start at 10am on Sunday mornings from April to mid-June.  The top 4 teams in each division make the playoffs, which start in June. The league champions win the “Kiddush Cup”.

Our “home field” is Forte Field in Newton (235 Rear California Street, Nonantum, behind the “Golden Arches”). This season we play a 9 game schedule and will be traveling to other fields in Newton, Brookline, and Belmont.

For more information, please contact: Cap’n Elliot Pittel, Bruce Miller, and Jeff Goldman at softball [at] dorsheitzedek [dot] org (members: you may wish to look up their emails).
