Families with Young Children

Tot Shabbat

Our youngest participants and their parents or caregivers enjoy meeting one Shabbat morning a month for tot Shabbat, consisting of stories, songs, and activities related to Shabbat or other holiday themes. This program is organized and led by parents on a rotating basis.

Teeny Tiny Tot Shabbat: An interactive Shabbat play program for kids age 4 and under.

Musical Tot Shabbat: A special musical Shabbat for kids 3 to 5.

Family Erev Shabbat Potluck and Service

We also offer a lively, musical erev Shabbat service with Rabbi Spitzer geared toward children 10 and younger. This is also a monthly program and is usually preceded by candle lighting and a potluck dinner. Both programs offer a lively, informal introduction to Shabbat rituals and community life for young children and their families. Bring the kids and come join us!
