  • Zornberg Reading Group

    In this reading group we will explore together one chapter each month (through 2 sessions) of The Beginning of Desire, by Aviva Zornberg. Reading the chapter in advance is recommended. May will focus on Chapter 5.

  • Tot Shabbat

    Tot Shabbat is a monthly Shabbat morning program, led by CDT members and educators Susan Moser and Tal Shalom-Kobi, for children age 5 and under and their parents. Join us in celebrating Shabbat with songs, stories, crafts and other fun activities!

  • Shavuot with Congregation Dorshei Tzedek

    Shavuot is the holiday when we celebrate the mythical moment of receiving Torah at Mt Sinai, and the ongoing unfolding of Torah—Jewish learning—in all its many forms. We will celebrate Shavuot by joining with many other area congregations and Jewish groups for a night learning (and schmoozing and eating) ending at midnight!

  • All-Ages Erev Shabbat Service / Potluck

    6 pm - Candle lighting and dinner;
    6:45 pm - Service

    Once a month, we gather for a potluck vegetarian dinner followed by a musical, all-ages erev Shabbat service. Join us for this fun, musical erev Shabbat experience appropriate for adults and kids of all ages (especially kids in pre-school through 4th grade).  We’ll end at 7:30 pm with Oneg Shabbat (dessert). Please bring a vegetarian/dairy main dish to share - enough for 15-20 people.

  • Got Shabbat? (Including Tot Shabbat)

    Join us for “Got Shabbat?”, an opportunity for the whole community to come together and have fun, learn together and find new ways to celebrate Shabbat. Beginning together with songs and blessings, adults and kids are then invited to choose from a panoply of activities, until we gather again to read a little Torah and close the service together. Come find out if you’ve “Got Shabbat”! A kiddush lunch will follow.
